A Promising Start
Early Learning Series
We offer facilitated early learning series at selected sites (in-person and online), in partnership with preschools, childcare providers, libraries, social service agencies, medical clinics, as well as other professionals who support families with children birth to age five. These sessions are designed to support professionals in engaging parents and strengthening young children’s early language, math, reading, and writing development at home. Each series may be offered on its own; however, for the strongest foundation, we recommend beginning with The Early Years Matter and the More Than Words series.

We are in the final stages of developing A Promising Start, an early learning series and professional training resource designed to support young children’s early language, math, reading, and writing development at home. Grounded in child development science, this resource equips professionals who work with families to more deeply engage parents in their child’s learning journey and strengthen the foundations for school readiness and lifelong learning.
