Give Every Child
A Promising Start!

Empowering Parents, Building Community, and Inspiring Joy In Early Learning!

We’re excited to share that A Promising Start has completed its pilot phase! We partnered with three sites to test this new training resource for parents and caregivers of children birth to age five, including one site led directly by our team. The pilot concluded in January 2026, and the insights we gained are helping us refine the resource as we prepare it for publication. At this time, we are also actively facilitating A Promising Start early learning series sessions with partner sites.

About Us

Expertise from Three Fields: Early Childhood Education, Family Engagement, and Pediatrics

In a world where there is so much information available with the push of a button, it's sometimes difficult for parents and caregivers to know what is and isn’t appropriate for their young child’s early learning development. Grounded in brain science, child development theory, and best strategies from educational practice, our fun and interactive learning sessions serve to support, empower and equip parents and caregivers as their child’s first and most important teachers.

What We Offer

Interactive series of learning sessions for parents, grandparents, and caregivers, offered in partnership with early childhood professionals who support families with children birth to age five.

Drawing on expertise in early childhood education, family engagement, and pediatrics, we support parents and caregivers in developing a deeper understanding of how young children learn. We provide accessible, practical ways to support early development in language, math, reading, and writing, through everyday conversations, routines, and responsive interactions at home and in community settings.

Our engaging sessions use a relationship-based, peer-learning approach that incorporates short, real-time readings from our forthcoming book, Give Your Child a Promising Start: Discover the Joy of Everyday Early Learning Birth to Age Five, along with small group discussion and reflection. The series format gives participants time to internalize ideas, try strategies at home, and reflect on their experiences, building confidence and meaningful connection within a supportive learning community. Sessions are offered both in-person and online.
